Reconnection Sessions
Rooted in the trauma-informed massage modality of BioEnergetic Shen, this service is designed to liberate your creative life force and restore the connection between mind & body. Sessions are a blend of coaching & massage focused on resetting your nervous system and releasing limiting patterns. This work has grown out of Christina's extensive training, personal experiences and 24 years in the bodywork field.
The underlying intention of this work is to restore communication with your heartmind - your internal GPS system. In order to liberate your abundant lifeforce, Christina will work with you to bring conscious awareness to the parts of your expression that have been armored by past experiences and then assist your body in reconnecting with the softness underneath the armor.
Working with the mind/body in this way can be an incredibly excellent treatment for chronic pain, chronic illness, psycho-somatic or psycho-emotional symptomology that other more traditional forms of therapy have not successfully resolved.

160 Session + 29 Tip
All reconnection work begins with this 90 minute session so you and Christina have apple time to settle in and create a solid container for the experience. The session will include a longer and deeper check-in prior to your massage and a follow up conversation after. The time on the table will often include guided suggestions for deep breathing or connecting with your body and may even include relevant dialogue.
Why Our Rates Include a 'Tip' Amount
Most locations expect you to pay a gratuity amount (20-35%) on top of their published rates. This industry standard sets therapists up to earn a living wage only when clients leave a gratuity. We don’t want our therapists worried about earning tips to pay their rent. We believe guaranteeing them a living wage outside of individual client tipping practices and abilities is better for everyone. This is why we include the ‘tip’ amount listed per service in their compensation. For this reason, additional gratuity at checkout is never expected or required, although still accepted. Any tip you leave above our service rate will be just that - an extra thank you for the service you received.
