​Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes healing and relaxation while reducing stress and anxiety through gentle touch. It was first discovered in the early 1900’s in Japan and is the ancient healing technique of channeling universal life energy to support your energy fields by releasing blockages and promoting healing. Reiki aids in healing by helping people become more energetically balanced-physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

During an in person Reiki session, the client and practitioner will briefly discuss what is present and what the client wishes to achieve through the session. The client will lie down clothed on the massage table and the practitioner will then channel energy to the client with gentle laying on of hands, helping the client cleanse and release any blockages or stored energy that is not serving them. During a session, you may experience euphoria, meditative states, waves of cold, waves of warmth, twitching, vibrations and even visions and colors. You may also experience deep relaxation and feel as though you are in a deep meditative state or even fall asleep. After the session you and your practitioner will have the opportunity to share any experiences, ah-has or questions with one another.
